Privacy notice

How ASPIC Corporate Finance collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide through this client exchange.

Who we are

ASPIC Corporate Finance Limited ("we", "us") is the data controller for the information collected through aspic-clientsexchange.com. We are a credit broker, not a lender. Regulatory information is available on request.

What we collect

  • Identity and contact details — your name, email address, telephone number, company, city and country of residence.
  • Requirement details — the type of finance you are seeking, indicative amount and currency, and any notes you add.
  • Verification data — your photo ID type, ID number and expiry, and any identity documents you upload.
  • Technical data — your IP address, browser user-agent, and the date and time of submission. We record these to detect abuse and to evidence when consent was given.

We only ever ask for what a given case requires. Your invitation link is configured individually, so you may not be asked for every category above.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

  • To assess and progress your enquiry — necessary for the performance of, or steps toward entering into, a contract with you.
  • To verify your identity — necessary for compliance with our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and know-your-client requirements.
  • To introduce you to lenders — on the basis of your consent, which you give when submitting the form and may withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the service secure — necessary for our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and abuse of this portal.

How we protect it

  • All traffic to this portal is encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Identity documents are encrypted at rest and stored outside the public web root, so they cannot be served directly by the web server even if a URL were guessed.
  • Access to submitted data is restricted to authorised ASPIC personnel, protected by individual credentials and session timeouts.
  • Administrative access is logged, including the time, action and originating IP address.

How long we keep it

Submissions are retained for 180 days by default, after which they are automatically purged along with any uploaded documents. Where a longer period is required by law — for example anti-money-laundering record-keeping — or where your case is still active, we retain the information for as long as that purpose requires and no longer.

Who we share it with

Where you have asked us to arrange finance, we share relevant details with lenders and finance providers in order to seek terms for you. We may also share information with professional advisers, and with regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and third-party services

This portal sets only the cookies strictly necessary to keep your session secure and the form working. Two optional services load only if you accept them on the cookie notice:

  • Google Translate — provides machine translation of page content. If enabled, Google receives the page text.
  • Live chat — lets you speak to us directly, and sets its own storage in your browser to maintain the conversation.

We also use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to distinguish genuine applicants from automated abuse. This is a security measure operated on our legitimate interests, and it involves Google receiving your IP address and interaction signals.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • request erasure of your data, where we have no overriding legal obligation to keep it;
  • restrict or object to our processing;
  • request your data in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@aspiccorpfin.com quoting your reference. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to your national data protection authority — in the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

What we will never do

We will never ask you for a password, a full card number, a PIN, or your complete bank account credentials — not on this portal, not by email, and not by telephone. If you receive such a request appearing to come from ASPIC, do not respond to it and contact us at info@aspiccorpfin.com.
